Throughout the 2000s, we worked with CitiCards to design and develop their online web strategy for citicards.com and accountonline.com. These were the early years of the web so much of the work focused on the creation of a modern website with many of the features that have since become standard. We were some of the first folks to use large banners and dropdown menu structures, account summaries, right-hand column contextual information, Information Architecture, and more. While traditional design methodologies were incorporated, bleeding edge ideas were addressed as well such as user flow, information architecture, content-driven dynamic sites, and more.
Additionally we developed the CitiCards search engine marketing strategy both for their organic ranking efforts as well as paid search campaigns. We successfully managed an ongoing, multi-million dollar campaign with Google, Yahoo, and MSN while exceeding our forecasted goals and conversion rates. Ikusa is extremely proud of the work we did with Citi and are particularly emboldened to see their continued support and recognition of the key design elements we developed.
